TYLER T. FLYNN, ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Tyler Flynn focuses his practice on oil and gas title and title-related real estate transactions. For over a decade, he has regularly prepared and supplemented drilling title opinions, division order title opinions, and other related oil and gas title opinions for exploration and production companies operating in Texas, Oklahoma, Wyoming, North Dakota, and New Mexico. His work involves the examination of mineral and leasehold title across multiple jurisdictions, including matters affecting federal and state oil and gas interests. Tyler also assists clients with oil and gas title curative and due diligence matters in connection with acquisitions, divestitures, and development activities.

In addition to his oil and gas practice, Tyler regularly assists title companies and escrow professionals with document preparation and title-related matters for real estate transactions throughout Texas. He prepares conveyance instruments, loan documents, curative instruments, and closing documents for residential, commercial, and farm and ranch transactions, and frequently assists in resolving title issues and addressing underwriting requirements in connection with insured closings.

Before entering private practice, Tyler worked as an escrow officer and drafting attorney for both a fee office and an independent title insurance agency. Because of this background, he understands the operational and underwriting challenges that arise during the closing process and works closely with escrow professionals to prepare compliant closing documents and efficiently address title issues that arise during a transaction.

Tyler is licensed to practice law in Texas and New Mexico.

Tyler resides in the Texas Hill Country with his wife, Jennifer, and their twin daughters.
