MATTIE DUTTON SIMPSON, MANAGING ATTORNEY
Mattie Simpson is a Managing Attorney with Alford & O’Brien. Her practice focuses primarily on rendering Drilling and Division Order Title Opinions in both Texas and New Mexico, with a focus on complex leasehold issues. She also provides council to clients such as mineral buyers on various issues in the oil and gas field.

Prior to A&O, Mattie was a petroleum landman for six years, working extensively in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma, managing large-scale projects for numerous clients in both the upstream and midstream arenas.

Mattie is licensed in both Texas and New Mexico and is Board Certified in Oil, Gas and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
